Living With Lincoln

LIVING WITH LINCOLN chronicles how five generations of one American family have shared the “glorious burden” of collecting, preserving and documenting a vital archive relating to Abraham Lincoln. A story overflowing with valuable historical items including photographic prints from the Civil War, original glass negatives of Abraham Lincoln, a soldier’s diary, and even a lock of Lincoln’s hair, OAKES was tasked to visualize this archive on screen. Staging the family’s home with the original archive, OAKES shot live action cinematics, timelapse, and created graphic elements to tell this unique story of a family’s relationship to one of America’s most important presidents.
